Invitation to the Closing Ceremony
You are cordially invited to the closing ceremony of the largest annual campaign of its kind – Celebrating Victory through Volunteerism “সেবার মাধ্যমে বিজয়ের প্রকাশ” 2010. The program will be held on Friday, 17 December 2010 between 4:00PM and 7:00PM at Senate Bhaban, University of Dhaka Campus.
Celebrating Victory through Volunteerism (সেবার মাধ্যমে বিজয়ের প্রকাশ) is an annual campaign that promotes volunteerism amongst Bangladeshis across the globe by asking individuals, institutions, organizations or corporate to do one act of voluntary service for Bangladesh and thus, uphold the spirit of the freedom fighters of 1971, who voluntarily gave their all for Bangladesh. In 2009, over 40 organizations joined hands. In 2010, the campaign is being celebrated with the successful participation of over 70 organizations with national and international outreach. Eminent personaities like literary genius Professor Abdullah Abu Saeed and the first Bangladeshi to scale Mt Everest Musa Ibrahim have expressed their enthusiastic support for the campaign.
Each organization is invited to send at least 2-3 representatives as upcoming youth leaders of the country so we can join on one platform to share our experiences.Representatives of print, electronic and new media outlets are expected to cover the campaign. The program schedule is as follows:

Closing Ceremony – 5PM to 7PM
An open-end exchange of activities done by all participating organizations at Celebrating Victory Through Volunteerism 2010, plus a discussion on community service and where we see Bangladesh in the next decade. A representative from each participating organization is welcome to briefly share with the audience details of their activities.
